The 30-share Sensex index fell 1.30 points at 28442.71, it was touched a high of 28504.65 and touch a low of 28370.73 in trade today.
The 50-share nifty index was up 12.95 points or 0.15% at 8537.65, it touched a high of 8546.95 and touch a low of 8508.35.
The CNX Mid-cap index closed at record high today, gained 1.5 per cent as Eicher Motors up 7 per cent and Bajaj Finserv up 8 per cent were top mid-cap gain.
Meanwhile, the Bombay Stock Exchange closed with a market capitalization of Rs 100 trillion for the first time ever.

Nifty top losers today:- Dr. Reddy's 2.38%, HDFC 1.81%, ZEEL 1.69%, Bharti Airtel 1.52%, Hindalco 1.43%, HDFC bank 1.14%, Hero motocrop 1.01%, Grasim 0.98%, TCS 0.83%, Power Grid 0.69%.
