The stock market today closed red flag, The BSE Sensex slipped over 669 points and the NSE nifty dropped over 200 points, Led by losses by Banks, Consumer durable, realty, Auto and capital stocks.
Closing update:- The 30-share Sensex index falls 629.82 points or 2.29% at 26877.48, it hits Intraday low of 26837.39 and touch a high of 27502.91.
The 50-share nifty index decline 198.30 points or 2.38% at 8126.95, it touched a low of 8115.30 and low of 8326.65 in trade today.
Among Bank of baroda 7.48%, Tata steel 6.39%, Cairn 5.81%, VEDL 5.30%, BHEL 4.99%, ICICI bank 4.79%. PNB 4.49%, IDFC 4.29%, Ambuja Cements 3.96%, L&T 3.73% were top losers in the nifty. while the nifty gainers Dr.reddy’s 3.43%, Hero motocom 3.30%.
