Indian Equity benchmark ended flat note on Friday as support gain in banking and FMCG shares while offset by decline in IT and Pharma shares. The BSE Sensex closed 19.33 points down at 31056.40, it was touched a high of 31,182.73 and touch a low of 31,017.18 while the NSE Nifty index settled below the 9,600 mark for the second trading day, gain 10.00 points at 9,588.05, it was touched a high of 9.615.85 and touch a low of 9,565.50.
Among Pharma shares came under selling pressure today, led by lupin closed 4.33 percent lower. IT shares were the other prominent losers in the Nifty. IT sub-index, Nifty IT fell 0.86 percent led by wipro, down 2.14 percent. Infosys,Tech-mahindra, HCL Tech decline between 0.5-1.3 percent.
The Bank Nifty index up 0.45 percent.
