Closing Update- The market has ended down despite a sharp recovery. The Sensex was closed falls 109.29 points or 0.44% at 24825.04, it was touched a high of 24961.88 and touch a low of 24598.90. The Nifty ended down 37.50 points or 0.49% at 7563.85, it was touched a high of 7605.10 and touch a low of 7494.35.
About 1241 shares have advanced, 1550 shares declined and 134 shares are unchanged.
Sesa Goa 4.87%, RIL 2.52%, Tata Motors 1.94%, NTPC 1.47%, Maruti Suzuki 1.37%, Hindalco inds 1.30% were top gainers today.
Wipro 3.30%, Adani ports 3.04%, M&M 2.95%, Tech-mahindra 2.84%, BHEL 2.70%, Dr. Reddy’s 2.63%, Idea Cellular 2.48%, Tata power 2.26% were top losers today.
