Sensex & Nifty ends under selling pressure, TCS up 3.31% and DLF down 3.91%

The market closing position:- the market saw ended selling pressure on Thursday after Federal Reserve Chair hinted, in hike interest rate in next months. 

The Sensex was ended 92.77 points or 0.42% down at 21740.09 and The nifty was closed 40.95 points or 0.63% down at 6483.10. 

The BSE index Capital goods, banking sectors, metals and auto stocks saw selling pressure while IT sectors split the trends today. 

Nifty top gainers today:- TCS 3.31%, Hindunilvr 2.03%, Cipla 1.31%, Wipro 1.27%. Sun pharma 0.97%, Infosys 0.96%, ONGC 0.86%, NMDC 0.65%, Asian paints 0.46%, HCL Tech 0.46%. 

Nifty top losers today:- DLF 3.91%, BPCL 3.90%, Ambuja Cements 3.64%, JP Associate 3.09%, Power Grid 3.03%, PNB 2.63%, Gail 2.50%, bank of baroda 2.47%, HDFC 2.27%, Indusindbk 2.26%.
