Tomorrow Best Stock Tips-Sensex Nifty Closed up, Realty stocks shines

Indian indices ended today’s trade at their highest point of the day showcasing bullish mood. The trade at the ending hours witnessed major volatility in the market. Nifty was moving back and forth between 9,800 level throughout the day and finished at 9,852.5 level up by 86 pts. Sensex gained over 260 pts to close at 31,568 level aided mainly by HDFC Bank.  Banks stocks were among the top gainers with ICICI Bank rising 1.3% and Allahabad Bank, Bank of India rose 22.5% each. 

Infosys, kept on news coverage after co-founder NR Narayana Murthy postponed investors’ concall, which was expected to be scheduled later to August 29, citing health reasons. Infosys stock rose 2 percent, extending gains from previous close after it declined over 14 percent after Vishal Sikka's resignation as MD and CEO of the company. 

Realty stocks kept public attention on the Exchanges all through the day. BSE Realty index was the top gainer among other sectoral indices on BSE. Indiabulls Real Estate closed up by 6.47 percent, DLF closed higher by 5.31 percent and HDIL closed higher by 3.11 percent at Rs 61.35 per share.

Stock Update: Shares Infosys fall for two consecutive sessions,Tomorrow stock tips

Infosys sharesx closed at Rs 873.5 down by 5.37% on Exchange in today’s trade. Infosys has posted biggest 2-day plunge from April 2013. Its dropped 14.46 percent in last two sessions. The shares have been traded on new 52-week low value at Rs. 870, registering a spurt in volume by more than 4.21 times. India's second number Information technology services exporter has corrected about 15%, wiping out nearly Rs. 34,000 crore of investor's wealth. 

However, today's fall in Infosys shares came even though the company announcing a Rs. 13,000 crore shares buyback on Saturday, at a price which is 25% higher than Friday's closing price. The IT sector was followed by Teck, realty and healthcare segments, which also witnessed decline. However, buying in metal, bank and financial stocks reduced the sentiment. 

On Closing, BSE Sensex ended lower by 266 points, to 31,259, while the NSE Nifty fell 83 points to 9,754. Apart from Infosys, Adani Ports and Dr. Reddy’s were ended in losss at a tune of 3.09%, and 2.42%, respectively.

Live Update- Sensex ends 25 Pts, Nifty above 9,900, Infosys higher 5 percent

Closing update- The equity benchamark closed higher for the third trading session, straight as Infosys, the second biggest IT company in India, closed by nearly 5 percent. 

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 24.57 points or 0.08 percent at 31795.46, it was touched a high of 32,502.55 and touch a low of 32,194.58. The 50-share NSE Nifty index gain 6.85 points or 0.07 percent at 9904.15, it was touched a high of 9.947.80 and touch a low of 9,883.75. 

Infosys buyback also strong sentiment for other IT stocks like Tech-mahindra up 1.06 percent, HCL Tech rose 0.79 percent.

Closing Update- Sensex down 266 pts lower, Nifty below 9,850

The benchmark indices extended losses for the fourth consecutive secession, but still ended lower led by losses in Auto and banking stocks. The BSE Sensex ended the day at 31,531.33, down 266.51 points while the Nifty50 index settled at 9,820.25, down 89 points. 

Shares of Tata Motors fell over 8 percent to their lowest in over one year after the company's 42 percent rise in June-quarter profit. 

BSE Mid-Cap index fell 2.64 percent, whereas Small-Cap index fell 2.9 percent. The fall these indices were higher than the Sensex's fall in percentage terms. 

About 2,181 shares declined against 390 shares advanced and112 shares were unchanged. Bharat Forge, BHEL, Bharat Electronics and Manpasand Beverages have declared bonus shares today.

Sensex Nifty closed lower on weak global cues, Market prediction tomorrow

Key benchmark indices clocked losses for third successive day dragged by bank and Pharma stocks. The BSE Sensex lost 216.35 points or 0.68% at 31,797.84. The Nifty50 index lost 70.50 points or 0.71% at 9,908.05. Weakness in global stocks is seen, despite rising geopolitical worries between US and North Korea weighed on sentiment on the exchanges. 

The BSE MidCap fell 1.66% while the Small-Cap fell 1.88%. The fall in these indices was greater than the Sensex's falls in percentage terms. 

Pharma stocks down with Cadila Healthcare (-9.54%), Cipla (-3.5%), Dr Reddy's (-2.84%), Glenmark Pharma (-4.2%), Lupin (-2.38%), Aurobindo Pharma (-5.86%) among others. Shares of GSK Pharmaceuticals rose up 0.36%. All the sectoral stocks settled in red mark, where Nifty Pharma shed 4%, the most.

Sensex Nifty decline today, 09 Aug Stocks trading calls tomorrow

The Sensex settled the day 259 points or 0.80% lower at 32,014. The Nifty50 also ended below its crucial 10,000-mark quoting 9,978, lower 78 points. The BSE Midcap and the BSE Smallcap indices also losing over 1 percent each, due to the unexpected regulatory order imposing trading restrictions on 331 listed companies identified as shell companies.

Tata Steel and Cipla are major gainers with gains of 2.5% percent and 2.3%, while Dr. Reddy’s Labs and Coal India are major losers with losses of 2.59% and 5.34%, respectively. 

Investors booked profit in latest outperformers. Nifty PSU Bank index lost as much as 2.8% with Bank of India and PNB leading the fall.

Sensex falls over 200 points, Nifty hovers around 10,000-mark

After opening the trade marginally lower today, Indian share markets continued their loss from with the Sensex declining over 168.97 points at 32307.77 and the Nifty was down 44.85 points at 10036.65 in the closing hours of trade. 

Though the Indices opened higher, it was subsequently slipped into the red after extending losses in morning trade after private survey indicated that India's services activity slumped in July. 

Reliance crossed a fresh record closing high of Rs 1655, up 1.6 %. Continuous selling pressure is visible in Metal, auto, financials, capital goods and banking stocks, on account of a 25 bps interest rate cut by the RBI. Investors were dissatisfied with just 25 bps rate cut by RBI. 

The SBI announced plans to raise over Rs 20 billion by issuing bonds. It aims to increase funds by allotting Basel-III compliant bonds valued above Rs 20 billion to various investors. The bonds will carry a coupon rate of 8.15 percent with a call option after five years.

Sensex, Nifty settle with modest losses after RBI move to reduce repo rate

The key benchmark indices settled with modest losses since profit booking materialize after the RBI cut policy rate by 25 bps after a monetary policy meet today, in line with market expectations. The BSE Sensex, declined 98.43 pts or 0.3% at 32,476.74, while the Nifty50 index lost 33.15 pts or 0.33% at 10,081.50. Weakness in European stocks also increased on sentiment. 

Adani Ports, NTPC and Ambuja Cements gained the most on Sensex and Nifty, while Dr Reddy’s, BHEL and Indiabulls Housing were the top laggards. Bank stocks were declined after the RBI cut policy rate by 25 bps.  

The monetary policy committee (MPC), headed by new RBI governor Urjit Patel, was of focus today. The govt and RBI have set a retail inflation target of 4 percent for the coming 5 years with an upper tolerance level of 6 percent and lower limit of 2 percent. Consumer price index moderated sharply to 1.54 percent in June. It is expected that the RBI will cut interest rates to push spending and investment.

Sensex, Nifty mark at record closing high for second consecutive session

Indian stock markets ruled at the baseline level after a strong opening, with capital goods and financials proving to be a big drag. Profit-booking kicked in for realty and power sectors in spite of positive Asian shares. Investors are on the look out of the announcement of RBI monetary policy meeting, which commences on Tuesday, together with a slew of earnings numbers. 

The Sensex reached higher at 32,575.17 on closing, up 60.23 points, or 0.19%. The broader Nifty went up by 37.55 points, or 0.37%, at 10,114.65. About 1046 shares advanced and 1627 shares declined, while 165 shares were unchanged. The BSE MidCap index rose 0.45%, outperforming the Sensex, whereas BSE SmallCap index declined 0.12%, underperforming the Sensex. 

Auto stocks ruled high gaining the most with Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki and Hero MotoCorp, while ONGC, Lupin and Bank of Baroda lost the most on both indices. 

Asian markets mostly gained on rising confidence in global growth. Growth in China’s manufacturing quickened in July, since output and new orders rose at the fastest level since February on strong export sales.
