The 30-share Sensex ended rose 12.13 points or 0.04% at 28516.59, it touched a high of 28641.08 and touch a low of 28274.36.
The 50-share nifty index closed marginally up 0.40 points or 0.00% at 8660.30, it touched a high of 8693.60 and touch a low of 8586.85.
In the banking & financial ICICI bank, Axis bank, and State bank of India down 1-1.7 per cent while HDFC and HDFC bank gained normally up.
Tata steel 5.12%, SSLT 3.55%, NTPC 3.02%, M&M 2.70%, Bajaj Auto 2.69%, IDEA 2.40%, ACC 2.22%, Tata power 2.20%, Bharti Airtel 2.13%, Grasim 2.08% top gainers today.
Among IDFC 2.11%, Axis bank 1.76%, Sun Pharma 1.65%, Tata motors 1.26%, Hero motocrop 1.20%, ICICI bank 1.09%, Cipla 1.00%, Kotak bank 0.97%, Wipro 0.97%, SBIN 0.96% were top losers today.
