Indian stock market today recovered, GST to the growing expectations in the market today market gained. but the market starting sluggish with the lead began to reach the market in early trading. And, the last hours of the trading session the market was reflected in a sharp rise. the Sensex were over 28 500. Finally, the Sensex and Nifty closed 1.25 per cent up.
The Sensex closed high 322.79 points or 1.15% at 28504.93 and The nifty index ended climbed 104.05 points or 1.22% at 8633.50 in trade today.
Today Midcap and Smallcap stocks also showed positive trends. CNX Midcap index closed gain 1 per cent at 13664. While the BSE smallcap index closed at the level of 0.9 per cent at 11 679.
Oil & gas, banking, auto and power stocks buying market on the strength of the edge is formed. BSE Oil & gas, banking, auto and power index gain 2.4 to 1.1 per cent. Bank Nifty with a gain of 1.5 per cent to close at 18 997 level. However, the IT stocks under selling pressure. BSE IT Index was ends 0.4% .
