RBI Rate Cut-Sensex rallied 162 Pts,Nifty above 7800, Bank Rally

The Equity Markets gained more than 400 points intraday after the RBI gift with 50 basis points interest rate cut but some profit booking in last hours of trade today. 

Closing Update:- The 30-share Sensex index closed high 161.82 points or 0.63% at 25778.66, it was touched a high of 26054.37 and touch a low of 25287.33. The 50-share Nifty Index ended up 47.60 points or 0.61% at 7843.30, it was touched a high of 7926.55 and touch a low of 7691.20. 

“The Reserve Bank Of India today surprised the Street by a bigger-than-expected interest rate cut of 50 basis points”. 

Among HDFC 3.46%, Maruti Suzuki 3.12%, M&M 2.48%, HDFC Bank 1.72%, Coal India 1.60%, L&T 1.27%, Tata Motors 1.19% were top gainers today.

The Indian market opens positive note, BSE Sensex gained over 130 points in Morning trends on Tuesday in support seen in other Asian markets.

Weekly Wrap: - Market gained in a truncated trading week as the recent data showing pick up in industrial production growth and easing inflation raised bets for a cut in interest rates by the Reserve Bank of India in upcoming policy meet later this month. The US central bank, the Federal Reserve holding rates steady after a two-day monetary policy meeting on 17 September 2015 also boosted sentiment. 

The Sensex rose 608.70 points or 2.37% to settle at 26,218.91. The gains in Nifty was higher than Sensex's rise in percentage terms. The Nifty gained 192.60 points or 2.47% to settle at 7,981.90. 

The market may remain volatile as traders roll over positions in the futures & options (F&O) segment from the near month September 2015 series to October 2015 series. The near month September 2015 derivatives contracts expire on Thursday, 24 September 2015. 

On The F&O Front : - Weekly data shows in the past trading sessions, we have seen strong Put writing in 8100/8000/7900 strikes & major Call writing in 7700/7800/7900 strikes indicating a range bound session for market, in the near term. 

On Technical Front: - On Nifty weekly chart strong resistance is seen at 7995 if it breaks with high volume, more bullishness is expected.

Live Stock/Sensex,Nifty extend rally, Bank Nifty up 600 Pts, Tata Motors down

10:20Am, The Indian stock market opens strong positive note, after the US federal Reserve held off up interest rates. The S&P BSE Sebsex rallied over 400 points on Friday. The Sensex climbed 443.02 points or 1.17% at 26406.99, it’s Intraday High of 26430.78 and low of 26130.30. The Nifty is rising 136.10 points or 1.72% at 8029.55, it Intraday high 8043.20 and touch a low of 7908.75. 

The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gained over 1 per cent about 1339 shares have advanced against 311 shares declined on the Bombay stock exchange. 

The Bank Nifty today rallied over 600 points, especially the government is considering increasing foreign direct investment(FDI) limit in private bank to 100 per cent. HDFC, ICICI bank, Axis Bank jumped 3-4 per cent. SBI and Bank of baroda gained 3 per cent.

Yesterday's gains have not been able to sustain the market today. Weak global cues in early trade on the domestic market today was the shock. But the business grew with advancing weakness and decline during the last hours were much deeper. Finally Sensex and the Nifty ended down 0.5 per cent.
