The Market closing update:- Equity market continues two days decline, today market ended with losses. The Sensex was closed 213.68 points or 0.78% at 27039.76, it was touched a high of 27163.98 and touch a low of 26919.96.
The Nifty was ended falls 61.70 points or 0.75% at 8171.20, it was touched a high of 8209.10 and touch a low of 8131.80 in trade today.
About 1161 shares advanced, 1489 shares declined and 186 shares were unchanged.
Top losers Axis Bank down 7.36%, ICICI Bank 4.30%, SBI 2.67%, NTPC 2.19%, Lupin 1.83%, Dr. Reddy’s 1.79% while Cipla 1.64%, Bharti Airtel 1.62%, ONGC 1.41%, Tata motors 0.74% were top gainers in the Sensex
