Closing update- The Indian stock market closing high with flat note on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex was closed up 45.97 points or 0.17% at 26713.93, Sensex Intraday touched a high of 26857.25 and touched a low of 26671.86.
The NSE Nifty index closed gain 19.85 points or 0.24% at 8179.95, it was touched a high of 8215.35, and touch a low of 8171.05.
About 1324 shares advanced, 1299 shares declined and 158 shares are unchanged.
Nifty Today Gainers- Adani ports 5.13%, Asian paints 3.98%, Bharti Airtel 3.57%, ITC 2.86%, Infra Tel 2.68%, TCS 2.51%, Coal India 2.25%, IDEA 2.00%, ACC 1.96%, Wipro 1.68%.
Nifty Today Losers- SBIN 3.10%, Tata Motors 2.80%, Cipla 2.04%, Tata Mtrdvr 2.02%, Hindalco 1.76%, ICICI bank 1.70%, BHEL 1.54%, Tata power 1.22%, Sun Pharma 1.00%.
The BSE Mid-cap was closed down 33.72 points or 0.30% at 11332.32 and BSE Small-cap index ends up 20.57 points or 0.18% at 11162.99.
The S&P BSE Capital Goods 14,376.50 down 88.47 points or (0.61%), FMCG Index at 8,173.40 up 128.33 points or (1.60%), BSE IT Index at 11,672.60 up 96.44 points or (0.83%), BSE Bankex at 19,871.68 down 240.06 points or (1.19%), BSE Auto at 19,247.20 down 116.09 points or (0.60%) and S&P BSE Metal at 7,906.40 down 43.95 points or(0.55%).
