Nifty is managed by IISL (India Index Services & Products), which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange Strategic Investment Corpn Limited. The Nifty50 was commenced in 1-April 1996, and is one of the many stock indices of Nifty.
NIFTY 50 Index has formed as a largest single financial product in India, with an ecosystem including exchange traded funds (ETF), exchange-traded futures and options (F&O), other index funds and OTC derivatives. NIFTY-Fifty being the world’s most actively traded contract, having great scope to generate profit.
