The market closed flat, with the sensex red signal and nifty positive trends on Monday.
The nifty consolidation at around 8300. However Small cap & midcap rallied dragged by some bit of profit booking with some gainers, realty index was up 3 per cent.Closing update:-
The 30-share Sensex was closed flat 5.45 points or 0.02% down at 27860.38, it touched a high of 27969.82 and low of 27785.40.
The 50-share nifty index was ended consolidate 1.95 points or 0.02% at 8324.15, it hit a high of 8350.60 and touch a low of 8297.65.
The S&P BSE indices among capital goods up 0.29%, IT index and bank index gain 0.15-0.40% while Oil & gas index down 0.21% in trade today.
Among Jindal steel 5.72%, DLF 2.69%, SSLT 2.52%, Tech-mahindra 2.47%, Bank of baroda 2.10%, PNB 1.95%, Cairn 1.74%, ZEEL 1.53%, HDFC 1.27%, Axis bank 1.18% were top nifty gainers today.
Gail 5.91%, Coal India 2.93%, M&M 2.92%, NMDC 2.81%, HCL Tech 2.39%, Indusindbk 1.61%, NTPC 1.60%, Maruti 1.59%, Bajaj Auto 1.57%, Hero motocrop 1.48% were top nifty losers today.
