Sensex high 467 Pts, nifty above 132.55 Pts, LT up 6.70%, BPCL rose 6.53%

The market Sensex today closed higher up by 467 points, it's biggest performance intra-day gain in past three weeks, in supported buying by retail investors and fund, oil and capital goods stocks.

The Sensex 30-share started new June session on the strong performance and hits the day's high of 24709.09. The Sensex was closed 24684.85 points high 467.51 points or 1.93%, it intra-day high of 24709.09 levels since May 12.

The 50-share nifty was ended high 132.55 points or 1.83% at 7362.50, it touched a high of 7368.60 and low of 7239.50.

The S&P BSE indices Capital goods was gain 4.93%, Bankex index was up 3.28%, Oil & gas was up 2.85%, Auto and Metals index was up 1.40-80%, while FMCG was down 0.82% and Healthcare was fall 0.92%.

Nifty top gainers:- LT 6.70%, BPCL 6.53%, Bharti Airtel 5.49%, ONGC 4.98%, Jindal steel 4.77%, Tata steel 4.13%, SBIN 4.12%, Bank of baroda 3.82%, NMDC 3.62%, PNB 3.62%.

Nifty top losers:- HCL Tech 2.30%, Tech-mahindra 2.03%, Dr. Reddy's 1.86%, Sun Pharma 1.84%, ITC 1.51%, Lupin 1.34%, Wipro 1.21%, NTPC 1.09%, Grasim 0.57%.
