Sensex & Nifty ends red signal, Union budget 2014, stocks future tips

Today equity market turn on choppy trade, the market closed red sound. The Sensex was closed 72.06 points or 0.28% down at 25372.75 and The nifty was ended 17.25 points or 0.23% down at 7567.55. About 1635 shares advanced, 1242 shares declined and 89 share are unchanged.

Tata power and Hindalco were up 3 per cent and while Coal India, HDFC and Gail were top Sensex gainers.

Among the losers were TCS, M&M, SBI, and Bharti Airtel. Among DLF 9.31%, IDFC 8.10%, Tata power 3.06%, Hindalco 2.73%, MCDOWELL-N 2.50%, ACC 1.56%, Coal India 0.79%, ITC 0.44%, Maruti 0.41%, Jindal Steel 0.37% were top nifty gainers today.

Among Hero motocrop 3.46%, M&M 2.25%, TCS 2.18%, Tech Mahindra 2.17%, SBIN 2.07%, Bharti Airtel 2.05%, ICIC bank 1.86%, Bank of baroda 1.81%, Asian paints 1.62%, Indusindbk 1.54% were top nifty losers today.
