The Equity Sensex today rose for the third straight session and Intraday closed 103 points up at a two week high on Tuesday. Today hiked petrol, diesel and LPG gas prices.The 30 share Sensex was closed strong and soared future to finish at two week high of at 25516.35 up 102.57 points or 0.40%, Intraday market touched a high of 25571.90 and low of 25466.77.
The 50 share nifty index was ended green sound 23.35 points or 0.31% up at 7634.70, it touched a high of 7649.50 and low of at 7618.15.
Hindalco Inds 6.73%, Maruti Suzuki 5.92%, Tata motors 4.52%, M&M 4.11%, Tata steel 2.32%, Ultra tech cements 1.47%, L&T 1.45%, Ambuja cements 1.43%, ICICI bank 1.40% were top nifty gainers today.
Tech mahindra 2.00%, BPCL 1.80%, Asian paints 1.71%, Wipro 1.50%, TCS 1.43%, Sun Pharma 1.26%, Infosys 1.06%, NTPC 1.02%, HDFC 0.85%, RIL 0.73%, Grasim Inds 0.55% were top nifty losers today.
