The market today closed under pressure, The Sensex was ends decline 174.01 points or 0.68% at 25406.33, it was touched a high of 25632.57 and touch a low of 25357.70.
The 50-share Nifty index down 43.65 points or 0.56% at 7741.00, it was touched a high of 7800.95 and touch a low of 7721.20.
The Market also declined marginally with the BSE Midcap and Small cap indices falling 0.3 per cent.
Oil prices gave up gains, hitting 11-year low. Brent crude was trading at 35.7 a barrel (the lowest level since July 2004), down 1.7 percent.
Among Reliance 2.38%, Cipla 1.51%, TCS 1.41%, BPCL 0.95%, Indusindbk 0.80%, Coal India 0.71%,
Tech-mahindra 0.59%, HDFC bank 0.48%, Bank of barada 0.44%, Power Grid 0.40% were top gainers today.
VEDL 3.95%, ITC 3.03%, Hindalco 2.60%, ICICI Bank 2.53%, Tata motors 2.52%, M&M 2.34%, Tata steel 2.02%, ONGC 2.01%, Maruti 1.88%, Lupin 1.78%.
