The closing update- The Indian stock market today closed RED sound, The BSE Sensex down 156.76 points or 0.56% at 28051.86, it was touched a high of 28,233.47 and touched a low of 28,037.87.
The 50-share NSE Nifty index closed decline 27.80 points or 0.32% at 8638.50, it was touched a high of 8,670.35 and touch a low of 8,631.15.
The BSE Midcap up 87.78 points or 0.70 per cent at 12661.06 and The BSE Smallcap index closed gained 28.27 points or 0.23% at 12309.95.
About 1221 shares have advanced, 1462 shares declined and 209 shares are unchanged.
