Equity Market closed down, Tomorrow Nifty Trading Calls- 18 August

The Equity market continued lacklustre for the second consecutive session on Wednesday with market closed lower amid mixed global market. The BSE Sensex was closed down 59.24 points or 0.21 percent at 28005.37, it was touched a high of 28,174.30 and touch a low of 27,960.14. 

The NSE Nifty index ended lower 18.50 points or 0.21 percent at 8624.05, it was touched a high of 8,667.10 and touch a low of 8,603.60. About 1455 shares advanced against 1258 shares declining shares on the BSE. 

Nifty Top Gainers- Tata steel 3.19%, Coal India 2.72%, Auro Pharma 2.72%, Hero Motocorp 2.01%, Tata power 1.76%, Bajaj Auto 1.69%, Bank of baroda 1.10%, Bharti Airtel 1.01%, ACC 0.99%, ONGC 0.98%. 

Nifty Top Losers- Adani ports 2.80%, TCS 2.37%, Tech-mahindra 1.86%, Power Grid 1.69%, Infosys 1.65%, IDEA 1.64%, Wipro 1.62%, BPCL 1.58%, Hindustan Unilever 1.48%, ZEEL 1.44%.
