Stock Market Closing Update, Auro Pharma up 7%

Closing Update- The 30-share Sensex was closed up 69.73 points or 0.25 percent at 28059.94, it Intraday touch a high of 28,108.39 and touch a low of 27,959.87. The 50-share Nifty index closed up 17.70 points or 0.21% at 8650.30, it was touched a high of 8,661.05 and touch a low of 8,620.90. 

The broader market outperformed benchmarks as the BSE Midcap index gained 0.61 percent at 13023.88 and BSE Smallcap index up 0.65 percent at 12515.13. About 1538 shares advanced against 1176 shares on the BSE. 

Nifty Top Gainers- AuroPharma 6.91%, Tata power 2.47%, Maruti 2.22%, Cipla 2.02%, ZEEL 1.59%, Infosys 1.49%, Dr.Reddy’s 1.14%, Sun Pharma 1.13%, NTPC 1.13%, Reliance 1.07%. 

Nifty Top Losers- IDEA 2.97%, Lupin 2.31%, Ambuja Cements 1.81%, TataMtrdvr 1.65%, Tata Steel 1.51%, Tata motors 1.19%, TCS 1.17%, Coal India 0.94%, Adani ports 0.84%, ICICI bank 0.78%.
