The BSE benchmark Sensex ended on a down in trade on Tuesday on the other side of profit booking after yesterday’s 500 points move-up. The Sensex closed down 50.45 points or 0.18% at 27440.14, it touched a high of 27603.71 and touch a low of 27338.23. 

The nifty index ended falls 7.15 points or 0.09% at 8324.80, it touched a high of 8355.65 and touched a low of 8280.60. 

The BSE Midcap gained 0.60% at 10613.15 and The BSE Small cap index up 0.08% at 11178.17. 

Among Kotak bank 6.40%, SSLT 6.12%, NMDC 5.12%, Tata steel 5.03%, Hindalco 4.51%, ONGC 4.10%, Hindustan Unilver 2.00%, Gail 1.85%, TCS 1.51%, Sun Pharma 1.13% top gainers in the nifty. 

Cairn 2.35%, M&M 2.15%, HDFC 1.96%, Cipla 1.72%, SBIN 1.68%, ZEEL 1.59%, Tata power 1.55%, Coal India 1.55%, Infosys 1.43%, HDFC bank 1.40% top losers in the nifty.

Sensex high trade. 16 Feb Indian share market news for tomorrow, Intraday nifty future tips

The market closed in the Sensex higher performance on Friday, led by third quarter earnings from SBI and Mahindra & Mahindra. The positive global cues also supported to the domestic market.

The Sensex closed in first time above 2900-mark since February 3, high 289.83 Points or 1.01% at 29094.93, it was touched a high of 29154.67 and touch a low of 28835.70.

The 50-share NSE nifty index closed 93.95 points or 1.08% at 8805.50, it touched a high of 8711.55 and touch a low of 8729.65.

Nifty top gainers:- SBIN 8.23%, M&M 4.99%, Lupin 3.67%, Jindal steel 3.30%, TCS 3.16%, Ultra cements 2.39%, BPCL 2.36%, Coal India 2.21%, Wipro 2.16%, ITC 2.05%.

Nifty top losers:- Gail 4.07%, BHEL 3.10%, DLF 2.20%, ONGC 2.01%, HDFC bank 0.93%, Tech-mahindra 0.80%, Infosys 0.74%, SSLT 0.19%.
