Sensex Nifty Up trends, Lupin SELL around 650

Market Live:- Indian stock market opened upside, Sensex is up 110.27 points or 0.27% at 40580.05 and the nifty trading up 24.70 points or 0.21% at 11990.70. Indusindbk 2.41%, Infratel 2.13%, Ultracements 1.26%, HDFC 1.22%, ITC 1.03% top gainers in morning session. Top losers are Tata steel 3.15%, Yes bank 2.62%, Tata motors 1.83%, JSW Steel 1.57%, Gail 1.21%.

The most active stocks include are Bharti Infratel, Indiabulls housing finance and Fortis Healthcare. 

Lupin share price was trading lower by 3 percent Intraday on Thursday. Intraday Sell position on the stock target 650-660 Rs per shares.

Closing Update: Top traded stocks on the NSE Today

Key benchmark indices moved positive territory in afternoon trade on Tuesday with Nifty ending well above 10680-mark. 

At the close of market hours, the Sensex gained 159 points to 35,513-level and the Nifty ended 57 points up at 10,685.60 A rally among PSU banks, energy spaces as well as IT stocks lifted the market up. 

In the broader market, the Nifty Midcap-100 index ended 0.51 percent higher.  Sectoral indices on the NSE were trading mixed with Nifty IT, PSU Bank indices ended higher 1%, while Nifty Pharma slipped 1.33%, as the top sectoral loses on the index. 

Among stocks, Infosys, Bajaj Finserv, GAIL, TCS, and BPCL were the biggest gainers. On the other hand, Hero MotorCorp, Sun Pharma, Yes Bank, Bharti Aritel and Wipro lost the most. Out of 50 stocks in the Nifty pack 24 stocks ended in the red while 26 stocks gained.

Short-Week end stocks, Market close on Friday for Guru Nanak Jayanti

Sensex, Nifty erased early gains to end lower on Thursday, due to mixed losses across the sectors, with automaker Mahindra & Mahindra being top loser ending about 3 percent lower, on both the benchmarks. 

The NSE Nifty closed 73.30 points lower at 10,526.75, while the benchmark BSE Sensex was down 0218.78 at 34,981.02. 

NSE and BSE posted their first weekly loss in the shortened week, with the NSE index finishing about 1.5% lower, while the BSE index closing down 1.3%. 

All the Nifty sectoral spaces closed in red except Nifty media which was the single gainer with 1.4 percent gain, while Metal index ended lower by 1.8% and Nifty PSU down by 1.5% each.  

M&M, Grasim Hindalco, Bajaj Fin emerged as top losers while Zee, Adani Ports and L&T were top gainers today.

Sensex, Nifty fall; Tomorrow Trading tips- 21 Nov

Key benchmarks snapped three sessions of gains to end lower on Tuesday, amid weakness in global equity markets and after the outcome of the RBI meet failed to impress investors.  

The NSE Nifty50 ended 1 percent lower at 10,656.20, while the BSE Sensex closed down 0.84 percent at 35,474.51. Yes Bank and Hindalco Industries were the biggest losers on the NSE index, with shares falling 6.1 percent and 5.91 percent lower, respectively. 

Gail India, Adani Ports and IndusInd bank were among major gainers in trade. 

IT stocks Wipro and Tech Mahindra closed 3.29 and 2.86 percent lower respectively, hurt by strengthening of the rupee against the dollar. Share prices of HEG Ltd rose 2.22% to Rs 4,345 per share after the company said that it will consider a proposal of share buyback on 26 November.

Sensex Closes at New Record; Reliance stock rally

The Sensex closed a new record high in trade by surging 282.48 points to 36,548.41 led by a strong rally in the shares of Reliance Industries.  The NSE Nifty ended 74.90 points higher at 11,023.20. Bank Nifty also ended the weekly expiry on a positive territory by going up 210 points at 27,026. 

Today's stock rally was mainly fuelled by a strong fall in crude prices that led to some smart gains in stocks of oil marketing companies such as BPCL and HPCL.  However, some selling pressure gripped in the small and midcap index, as index witnessed a fall in trade today.  

Reliance, Wipro, L&T, HDFC and SBI, were among top Sensex gainers, while Vedanta, Infosys, Bajaj Auto, M&M and Hero MotoCorp were major losers. 

Reliance Industries Ltd today entered the 100-billion dollar market capitalization as the company shares hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,099 on NSE and BSE as well. 

Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd surged 1.67% at Rs. 1,010 in Thursday's trade ahead of the board meet to announce buyback of shares.

Sensex ends record high on earnings optimism, Tomorrow stock tips

Share benchmarks rose for a third consecutive day with the Sensex closing near record highs as investors hope earnings growth to continue in June quarter. The BSE Sensex rose 304.90 points to 36,239.62 and the NSE Nifty 50 index climbed 94.40 points to 10,947.30. Reliance Industries, HDFC and HDFC Bank contributed over 50 percent to Nifty. 

Favorable monsoon rains, increase in the MSP of Kharif crops and a ease in global trade tensions are also boosted the market. Shares of Reliance Industries rose over 3% after reports that India Gas Solutions, a JV between Reliance and BP Plc, will bid for city gas distribution license. 

Index heavyweight Reliance Industries Limited gained 3.02 percent to Rs 1,025.75, HDFC rose 1.54 percent at Rs. 1939.20 while TCS shed 0.56 percent at Rs. 1877, ahead of its June first quarter result today, 10 July 2018. HCL Technologies gained 1.86 percent at Rs. 979.10 after the company’s proposal for buyback of the equity shares.

Closing Update- Sensex Nifty up, Best Stock Calls Tomorrow

The Nifty Midcap index rose 0.92 percent. Reliance Industries Ltd, Infosys Ltd, TCS, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, Bajaj Fiserv, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Bajaj Finance, gained upto 2 percent, were top contributors to the Nifty's gains. 

Maruti Suzuki share price advanced 1.72 percent at Rs. 8979.50 after global brokerage firm JPMorgan has maintained overweight call with a target price at Rs 10,200 per share. 

The MidCap and SmallCap shares were in line with their larger counterparts as the BSE MidCap and Small Cap index rose 0.7% and 0.4% respectively. 

Oil marketing company’s shares advanced. Among state-run oil marketing companies, BPCL (up 0.8%) and Indian Oil Corporation (up 0.71%), edged higher, however, HPCL fell 0.17 percent. 

Among oil explorers, the rising share are ONGC (up 1.28%), Reliance Industries Ltd (up 1.10%) and Oil India Limited (up 0.87%), edged higher.

Sensex ends lower, PowerGrid, HDFC top losers, Tomorrow stock tips

The Indian market ended on flat note after seeing high volatility in trade during the week ended day as bulls dominated control over final hours of trade, supported by major pharma companies. The BSE Sensex down 19.41 points at 35443.67, and the NSE Nifty shed 0.70 points at 10,767.70. Continued FII outflows, negative global cues with weak rupee impact weigh on investor sentiment. 

The Nifty PSU banking index rose 1.66% with Andhara Bank, Allahabad Bank, PNB and Indian bank as front-liners with gains upto over 5 percent 

Sun Pharma, Lupin, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Cipla and Gail are the top gainers on the Nifty indices, while Hindalco, PowerGrid, HDFC lose, among others. 

Shares of PSU banks surged as the meeting of State owned PSUs with FM-PSU Bank was underway in Mumbai. The Nifty PSU Bank index rose 1.7% led by Andhra Bank and Allahabad Bank. 

Meantime, the domestic currency (Rupee) declined to a fresh one-month low of 67.72 per American currency due to appreciation of the US Dollar overseas and foreign fund outflows. Further, weakness in the Indian stock market also weighed on the rupee.

Stock Market end higher, Metal, IT stocks rise, Tomorrow stock tips 10 May

Equity indices settled higher backed by gains in IT shares and select bank shares. The BSE Sensex rose 103.03 points to 35,319.35. The Nifty-50 index rose 23.90 points to 10,741.70, as per closing data. 

Gains in metals, IT and banking stocks helped the market close on a positive note. Revival in banking stocks cements, TCS and Reliance pushed up indices at the end hours of trade. 

In Sector wise, IT, metals, bank and energy companies held the market higher, while pharma, PSU banks and FMCG were a drag. The market breadth is negative with 1174 advances, against a decline of 1496 shares, while 144 shares are unchanged. 

Major gainers were Tata Motors, Asian Paints, and Titan, while Sun Pharma, NTPC, BPCL and UltraTech Cement were losing sheen. 

Among specific stocks, Tata Motors rose 3% on the back of higher global sales for Jaguar Land Rover, while Hindalco Industries ended 0.10 percent lower at Rs. 238.85

Closing Update- Sensex dips over 100 pts, Nifty lower on weak global cues

The BSE Sensex closed lower by 115.37 points or 0.33% at 34,501.27 and the Nifty of National Stock Exchange, ended down by 43.8 points or 0.41% at 10,570.55. Traders were also cautious ahead of April month derivatives expiry tomorrow, 25 April 2018. 

The Sensex began the move on a negative note, falling over 100 points intraday, while the Nifty shed below the 10,600-level, shedding 25.85 points, or 0.24% to 10,588.50. Except IT, TECK and realty, all other BSE sectoral indices ended in the negative territory. 

FMCG major Bajaj Corp. Ltd today reported a 5.22 percent rise in standalone net profit at Rs. 55.41 crore for the Q4 ended on 31 March, 2018. Shares of Bajaj Corp ended 5.52% lower at Rs 465.25 apiece on BSE. 

Top five Sensex gainers were Bharti Airtel Ltd (up 3.37%), Tata Consultancy Services (up 2.43%), Mahindra and Mahindra (up 1.88%) Infosys (up0.61%) and Power Grid (up 0.58%), while the major losers were Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, ONGC, Dr Reddy's and IndusInd Bank falling upto 2 percent.

Closing Updates- Markets end volatile session higher, Tomorrow Stock Tips

Equity benchmarks have ended the day and week on a positive note in what was a volatile trading session, with the Nifty closing near 10,500-level. The BSE barometer Sensex rose 91.52 points or 0.27% at 34,192.65. The Nifty 50 index jumped 21.95 points or 0.21% to 10,480.60, led by Reliance Industries, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Infosys Limited. 

The benchmarks registered third weekly gain. For the week, Nifty climbed 1.44 percent and Sensex gained 1.68 percent. Most of the sectoral indices complied by the BSE, ended higher led by the BSE Metal index's 1 percent gain, while BSE Capital Goods index was the top loser sectorally, down 0.7 percent. Shares of the IT major pared gains as traders await March quarter earnings, expected to announce after market hours today. 

The shares of Infosys rose 0.58 percent to Rs 1,169.00 Adani Ports, Wipro, Kotak bank, Coal India, Dr. Reddy and Reliance were the top Sensex gainers, while SBI, Axis Bank, Yes Bank lost the most.

Closing Update- Sensex up 470 pts, Nifty ends above 10,100

Key equity indices closed sharply higher as the Sensex was up 469.87 pts or at 33,066.41 and the Nifty gained 132.65 points at 10,130.70. Banking, , metal and mining stocks rose. Index heavyweights such as HDFC Bank, HDFC and Reliance Industries advanced. 

Nifty Bank index jumped 600 points while the Nifty Midcap index was rose 250 points. Banks stocks rallied, which include Canara Bank (+10.54%), Union Bank of India (+5.07%), Bank of India (+4.87%), Syndicate Bank (+3.45%) and Andhra Bank (+3.69%) on NSE. 

The other stocks which also rose include Adani Enterprises, JP Associates, Titan Company, Avenue Supermarts, Dish TV, Future Lifestyle, Den Networks, Hathway Cable, NIIT Limited, Bata India and Mirza International, rising up to 13%. 

Shares of Hindustan Construction Company, Indiabulls Real Estate, PC Jeweller and NLC India Limited were down 2 to 6%, while shares of Infosys and Wipro fell up to 3.5%. 

NSE Top Five Gainers: Yes Bank, State Bank of India, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Baja Finance and Tata Steel . In contrast, top five losers were Wipro, Gail India, Hindustan petroleum Corp, Infosys and Bosch Limited.

Sensex, Nifty end in red, PSU banks rally, Stock trading news for tomorrow

Equity benchmark indices logged small losses in volatile trade on Wednesday amid divergent trend in index pivotals. The BSE Sensex fell 21.04 points at 33,835.74 and the NSE Nifty-50 index fell 16 points at 10,410.90. 

Shares of HDFC, ITC plunged while shares of PSU banks rose up to 14 percent. Shares of oil marketing companies namely Indian Oil Corpn (IOC), HPCL and BPCL tumbled up to 3.3 percent with IOC losing the most. Stocks of PSU bank, IT and private banks closed in the green territory with PSU bankers gaining the top. 

In the Sensex pack, shares of Yes Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Axis Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank and NTPC rose upto 1.85% to 0.35% in range, while shares of Hero MotoCorp, ONGC, Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, HDFC and Bajaj Auto, were the top laggards falling up to 2 percent. 

The stocks of PSU banks witnessed a relief rally for the second straight day with shares rising up to 14 percent. Bank shares such as IDBI Bank, Andhra Bank, OBC, Union Bank, Allahabad Bank, Syndicate Bank, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBI, PNB, Bank of India rose in different extents.

Closing Updates- Sensex up 600 pts, Nifty reclaims 10,400, Tomorrow Stock Tips

Indian equity market made a strong comeback on Monday after a subdued activity for last one week with Sensex rising up 610.80 points to 33,917.94, while Nifty rose 194.55 points to 10,421.40.  

Shares ITC emerged as the major booster in uplifting the key equity indices followed by a continued rally in shares HDFC, Reliance, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Infosys, NTPC, HDFC Bank, L&T and Bharti Airtel, were the lead gainers in Sensex components. 

All the sectoral indices excluding Nifty PSU Bank index ended in green with Nifty FMCG, Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Metal, Nifty Auto, Nifty Bank, Nifty Financial Services leading the charge rising up to 2%. 

Among the PSU bankers, shares of IDBI Bank, Central Bank of India, Andhra Bank, Union Bank of India, UCO Bank faced the major jolt with stocks of IDBI Bank and Andhra Bank dropping up to 9 percent. Shares of most of the Midcap & Smallcap companies also gained in line with large-cap stocks, as the broader market indices of NSE, Nifty Next 50, Nifty 100, Nifty 200, Nifty 500 etc rose 0.8 to 2 percent. 

The govt will release inflation data based on consumer price index and industrial production data in later hours today.

Closing Update- Key indices opened marginally higher in the opening trade on Monday, but quickly turned negative zone, with BSE Sensex falling more than 100 points and NSE Nifty below 10,450.

Bench mark Nifty50 was trading down 39.70 points to 10,412.60 while BSE Sensex down by 211.46 point to 33,889. 

Nifty Gainers & Losers: Infratel (+1.11%), Vedanta (+0.86%) Ambuja (+0.70%), GAIL (+0.68%) and UltraTech Cement (+0.52%), were the top gainers on Nifty50. Tata Steel (-4.24%), Indiabulls (-1.94%) Zee (-1.97%), Bharti Airtel (-1.76%), and Tech Mahindra (-1.75%) were the top losers in today’s trade, at the time of this writing.

Market Update: Nifty at fresh record close, Sensex up 34,400; Coal India rose

The indices registered small gains in a range-bound trade on Tuesday with Positive global cues lifting investors' spirit. Sustained foreign fund inflows and bets by investors with hopes over Quarter-3 FY18 earnings and upcoming budget helped the key indices to hit its respective highs. 

The BSE Sensex closed higher by 90.40 pts to 34,443.19, while the NSE Nifty rose 13.40 pts to close at 10,637. 

Shares of state-run iron ore miner NMDC Limited plunged nearly 5 percent on Tuesday as the govt started the disinvestment at a discount of 5 percent which led the company to lost about Rs 2300 crore in the M-cap.  

Metal & mining stocks dropped which include shares of Jindal Steel & Power, Hindustan Copper, Hindalco Industries, Vedanta, JSW Steel, Nalco, SAIL India and Hindustan while Tata Steel edged higher. 

Coal India shares advanced 5.54 percent at Rs 303.80 after the company approved revision of non-coking coal prices effective from today, 9 Jan 2018. 

SBI was down 0.51% at Rs 304.10 after bank to consider approval for issuance of long-term bonds of Rs 5,000 crore. 

Top Winners & Losers: Coal India, Yes Bank, ITC and Wipro were among the top gainers in the trade while Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto, BHEL, Bharti Airtel, and Zee Entertainment among the laggards.

Sensex peaks at record high, Nifty at 10,623, pharma, IT stocks rise

Key indices ended on a strong note with the Sensex and the Nifty hitting record highs in early trade, tracking stability in Asian stocks. The BSE Sensex surged to a new record high at 34352.79 up 198.94 points while the NSE Nifty crossed the 10,623.60 up 64.75 points at 10,623.60 on strong gains in pharma, IT and banking stocks amid optimism over quarterly earnings by corporates.  

Shares of Coal India, Infosys, Sun Pharma, Lupin, Indiabulls HF, Tech Mahindra, BPCL and L&T stood among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index on Monday.  On the other hand, shares of Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Power Grid, Tata Steel, Asian Paints and Adani Ports SEZ remained the top losers on Monday.  

Except Nifty PSU Bank index, all sectoral indices closed the day in the positive zone. OBC, Indian Bank and Allahabad Bank were the only three stocks in the PSU bank index that managed to settle in the green on Monday.  

Information technology stocks were mostly higher. Infosys spiked 1.97%, Tech Mahindra rose 1.42%, Tata consultancy service went up 1.06% and Wipro edged higher by 0.61%, whereas shares of Oracle Fin Services Software slipped 0.07% and HCL Technologies edged down 0.32%. 

Engineering & construction equipment major Larson & Toubro rose 1.71% at Rs 1,337, with the stock hitting record high in intraday, after the company announced that its construction arm has secured orders worth Rs 2,265 crore.

Sensex spikes 194 points, Nifty finishes above 10,250 ahead of Gujarat exit polls

The benchmark BSE Sensex ended the session higher on value-buying by investors ahead of exit poll results for Gujarat Assembly elections later in the day. The BSE Sensex rises 193.66 points at 33,246.70, while the NSE Nifty50 rises 59.15 points to 10,252.10. 

Among BSE sectoral indices, consumer durables fell 0.88%, followed by power 0.78%, infrastructure 0.72% and Information Technology 0.61%. On the other hand, oil & gas index was up 0.39%, banking 0.26%, healthcare 0.2% and auto 0.02%. 

Top five Sensex gainers were Dr Reddy's, Mahindra and Mahindra, Cipla, Lupin and NTPC, while the major losers were TCS, PowerGrid, Wipro, Adani Ports and L&T. 

Oil company stocks such as BPCL, HPCL and IOCL gained by 1.78%, 3.12% and 2.31% respectively. Index heavyweight ITC advanced 1.93% at Rs 264.05 and HDFC Bank rose 1% at Rs 1,840. 

IT major TCS dropped 2.63 percent at Rs 2,558.10. The stock was the biggest loser among the 30-share Sensex pack.
