Closing update:- The Equity benchmark closed down with consolidation on Friday. The nifty index ended marginally down at 8337.00. Weighed down by capital goods, metals, auto and Index Heavyweights.

The BSE broader markets are closed mixed with the BSE Midcap up 0.35% and Small cap down 0.4 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex ended down 47.25 points or 0.17% at 27868.63, it touched a Intraday high of 27980.93 and touch a low of 27739.56.

The 50-share nifty index closed fall 1.30 points or 0.02% at 8337.00, it touched a Intraday high of 8360.35 and touch a low of at 8290.25.
