The market today closed continues consolidation for the second consecutive session on Thursday. The Equity benchmarks ended rangebound session with positive notes, The BSE Sensex rallied 40.66 points or 0.14 percent at 28412.89, and the NSE Nifty index up 15.95 points or 0.18 percent at 8742.55. Led by buying in index heavyweight, Reliance Industries, ITC and HDFC, while selling index Bank and Auto stocks.
About 1459 shares advanced against 1259 declining shares on the BSE.

Nifty Top Losers- Yes bank 2.31%, Power Grid 2.04%, Tata Steel 2.03%, Axis bank 1.96%, Bajaj Auto 1.41%, NTPC 1.35%, Hero Motocorp 1.09%, Bank of baroda 0.98%, Tata Mtrdvr 0.93%.
