Market closing update- The Equity benchmark ended positive note on Thursday, The BSE Sensex was up 265.71 points or 0.93 percent at 28773.13, it was touched a high of 28,871.92 and touch a low of 28693.07. The NSE Nifty index closed gain 90.30 points or 1.03% at 8867.45, it was touched a high of 8893.35 and touch a low of 8837.80. 

The broader market out performance BSE Midcap index up 1.39 percent at 13294.56 and The BSE Smallcap index climbed 1.00 percent at 12948.98. 

Among The BSE Auto index +1.44%, Bankex index +1.49%, Metal index +1.03%, BSE Oil & gas index +1.51%, BSE FMCG index +0.42% while BSE IT index marginally down 0.36%. 

Auropharma 5.88%, Hindalco 3.54%, Bank of baroda 3.19%, SBIN 2.69%, Indusindbk 2.65%, Eichermot 2.49%, Adani ports 2.34%, ACC 2.32%, Tata Steel 2.03%, HeroMotocorp 1.97% were top Gainers in the NSE. 

Axis bank 1.47%, Tech-mahindra 1.43%, TCS 1.38%, Lupin 1.27%, Coal India 1.16%, IDEA 0.83%, Wipro 0.38%, Tata power 0.33%, Hindustan unilever 0.33%, ZEEL 0.29% were top Losers in the NSE.
