Sensex, Nifty end lower ahead of F&O expiry, Tomorrow Stock Tips

Closed Update- Sensex and nifty ended marginally lower on Wednesday ahead of November F&O expiry and September-quarter GDP data due on 30 November. 

The BSE Sensex closed lower by 15.83 points to 33,602.76, while the NSE Nifty 50 edged down 8.95 points to close at 10,361.30. 

Wipro, Sun Pharma and Bharti Infratel were the top gainers, whereas Axis Bank, Asian Paints, and Zee TV were losers. With a negative market breadth, there were 1,319 advances against a decline of 1,382 shares, while 141 shares were unchanged. 

Most realty stocks such as Sobha developers, Prestige Estates Projects, D B Realty (and Godrej Properties gained. However, the stock of Peninsula Land, Sunteck Realty, Oberoi Realty, Indiabulls Real Estate were edged down. 

Sectorally, the stock such as realty, consumer durables, telecom and capital goods traded higher, while metal, finance, utilities and power sectors suffered losses.

Sensex closes 106 points lower, Nifty at 10,370, PSU bank stocks fall

Indian shares ended slightly lower on Tuesday, weighed down by RIL and Infosys, with investors focused on Sept-quarter GDP data, due on Thursday. The BSE Sensex is down 105.85 points at 33,618.59, while the NSE Nifty is down 29.30 points at 10,370.25. 

Maruti Suzuki, BHEL, Indiabulls Housing and Zee TV gained the most, while NTPC, Bharti Infratel , Bharti Airtel and Aurobindo Pharma were the laggards. 

Jindal Drilling stock rose over 3 percent after the company has been awarded contract from ONGC. Bharat 22 ETF made a stellar debut on Tuesday on the BSE, as the open-ended ETF got listed at 36.30/unit on BSE. Sectorally, the BSE Telecom fell most followed by consumer durables, teck Resources and IT stocks. 

On the NSE, the Nifty PSU Bank slipped 1 percent whereas basic materials, finance, FMCG, auto and metal were trading in positive terrain. Among 1423 stocks traded on the NSE, 723 stocks advanced, 666 stocks declined, and 33 remained unchanged today.

Sensex, Nifty close marginally higher; Axis Bank, ONGC top gainers

Key benchmark indices recovered from losses to close marginally higher on Monday. The market opened lower as broader sentiment was diminished after Standard & Poor’s (S&P) retained the country’s sovereign rating which kept its India rating unchanged at the lowest investment grade of BBB–with a stable outlook. Traders also waiting for the GDP data for the third quarter due on 30 Nov 2017. 

The BSE Sensex closed higher by 45.20 points at 33,724.44, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 9.85 points to close at 10,399.55. 

Stocks of Power generation companies such as NTPC, GMR Infrastructure, Torrent Power, Reliance Power, Reliance Infrastructure, CESC, Tata Power Company and NHPC edged higher, whereas Jaiprakash Power Ventures and JSW Energy edged lower. 

NTPC, Axis Bank, Zee Entertainment and ONGC gained the most on Nifty50, while Infosys, HPCL, Bajaj Finance, Adani Ports, and Tata Motors were the top losers. Nifty Midcap and Nifty bank index have close at record closing highs. 

Financial stocks lead support while the Information technology and FMCG stocks were top laggards, ahead of expiry of November futures & options (F&O) contracts and OPEC meeting on oil output cut later this week.

Sensex closes 91 points up, Nifty at 10,380, Tomorrow Stock Trading Calls

Key benchmark indices settled with modest gains as govt gave ascent to ordinance to change the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 perked up sentiment. The BSE Sensex advanced by 91.16 points at 33,679.24, while the NSE Nifty 50 rose 40.95 points to close at 10,389.70. Gains in global stocks also underpinned sentiment. Stocks gained for the seventh successive day. 

Infosys, GAIL India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bajaj Auto and Aurobindo Pharma were the top gainers, whereas State bank of India, BHEL, Vedanta and Hindalco were the top losers. 

Information Technology stocks gained for the second straight day. Infosys spiked 1.77%, Tech Mahindra rose up 1.03%, TCS rose 0.53%, HCL Technologies advanced 0.39%, and Wipro gained by 0.2%. 

Reliance gained 0.47% after the company announced subsidiary of its Reliance Holding-USA has closed the sale of its upstream Marcellus shale assets in America to BKV Chelsea for USD 126 million. 

Shares of Indian Hume Pipe Co. Ltd surged 1.52% after the company said it received an order of Rs119.73 crores from public health & municipal Engg dept, A.P. 

Positive breadth floated in market with 1506 shares advanced against a decline of 1227 shares, while 154 shares were unchanged.

Sensex ends flat, Infosys, Sun Pharma, RIL top gainers, Nifty Prediction Tomorrow

Closing Update- Key indices ended the session on a positive note after the range bound day of trade on Thursday with the BSE Sensex closed higher by 26.53 points at 33,588.08, while the NSE Nifty inched up 6.50 points to close at 10,348.80.

Shares Infosys Ltd, Sun Pharma and Reliance Industries were the top gainers while shares of Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Bajaj Auto and Adani Ports were losers.

Majority of IT stocks advanced on positive economic data in U.S, the biggest outsourcing market for the Indian IT companies. Tech Mahindra rose 1.27%, HCL Technologies spiked 1.51%, and Infosys edged higher by 2.72% while Wipro shares fell 0.22%. 

Among the sectoral indices in BSE, metal index fell the most by 1.22%, followed by realty 0.75%, infrastructure 0.65% and consumer durables 0.55%, whereas IT index was up 0.99% and oil & gas 0.07%.

Sensex ends 118 points up, Nifty trims gains, pharma stocks top gainers

Indian shares rose for a fourth successive session on Tuesday, boosted by Reliance Industries Ltd after Goldman Sachs reportedly raised its target price on the stock by 26% to Rs. 1,205 and gave the stock a ‘buy’ rating. 

The BSE Sensex closed higher by 118.45 points to 33,478.35, whereas the NSE Nifty 50 rose 28.15 points to close at 10,326.90. The BSE Mid Cap finished up by 0.1 percent while the Small Cap finished up by 0.4 percent. Gains were mainly seen on the back of strong pharma index, energy and consumer durables sector. Dr Reddy’s Lab led the Pharma sector, gaining over 5 percent. Meanwhile, shares of Coal India, ITC and Power Grid fell 1.51%, 1.08% and 1.03%, respectively. 

Shares prices of HDFC Standard Life have spiked about 50% from its Initial Public Offer price in just three days of listing on the stock market. The stocks had jumped 44.44 percent to the record high of Rs. 418.9 from the issue price of Rs 290, which ended 8.88 percent higher at Rs 386.9 on NSE today.

Sensex, Nifty close marginally higher; Realty, metal stocks gain

The Sensex, Nifty settled with tiny gains after a range bound and lackluster sessions of trade on Monday amid mostly lower global stocks. The BSE Sensex closed higher by 17.10 points to 33,359.90, while the NSE Nifty50 rose 15.15 points to close at 10,298.75. Key indices swung between gains and losses around the flat line during the session. Market gained for the third consecutive day. 

On the BSE, the stocks of Energy, Healthcare, FMCG, Telecom, Utilities, Industrials, Metal and Reality sectors gained, whereas IT and Technology sectors showed weakness. 

GAIL India, Coal India, ONGC, and Tata Power were the top gainers, while ICICI Bank, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and Ambuja Cements were the top losers. GAIL India share rose 4%, Yes Bank rose 2.5%, Bosch rose 2%, while on downside, Ambuja cement lose 3.5% and , Dr Reddy’s Lab edged lower by 2%.  

The top gainers in the Nifty50 Index include, GAIL, YES Bank, Vedanta, Bosch, Coal India, Kotak Mahindra Bank NTPC Oil & Natural Gas Corporation and Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd. Nifty Realty index gained over 2%, with shares of Indiabulls Real Estate which zoomed at up to 8%.

Sensex up 236 points, Nifty above 10,280, on Moody’s ratings upgrade

The Stock market registered modest gains, extending previous session's gains. The BSE Sensex advanced 235.98 points at 33,342.80, while the NSE Nifty50 index rose 68.85 points to settle at 10,283.60. Metal, Reality and Bank sectors push the market upwards. 

Positive global cues boosted sentiment. Investor risk appetite also increased after rating agency Moody's Investors Service has upgraded sovereign rating of India a notch above investment grade after a long gap of 14 years. Moody ratings increased the investors’ sentiments, pushing the banking and financial sector stocks up. Metal stocks bloomed with the gains of JSW Steel, Hindalco and Vedanta. 

Realty stocks surged after the Union Cabinet has approved the increase in the carpet area of houses qualified for interest subsidy scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Index pivotal HDFC, HDFC Bank and ITC advanced. 

Overseas, European stocks edged down as investors conceived further earnings and data. AsianStocks jumped up as global equities come out to bounce back after declines in the week earlier. US equities rose yesterday, 16 Nov 2017, rebounding from consecutive falls, following stellar quarterly results.

Market regains after recent slide, the Sensex closed above the 33,000 level

Stock Market registered strong gains on renewed buying after enduring losses of three sessions. Recent decline in crude oil prices globally also lifted investor passion. 

The BSE Sensex closed higher by 346.38 points to 33,106.82, whilst the NSE Nifty gained 96.80 points to close at 10,214.80. IT stocks advanced. Index heavyweight Reliance Industries gained. 

IT major Infosys Ltd along with SBI, Reliance Industries and NTPC were the top gainers heaping gains respectively by 3.79%, 2.71%, 2.56% and 2.27%. On down side, shares of Adani Ports fell by 2.27%, Coal India by 0.94% and Hero MotoCorp 0.72%. 

Oil refinery company’s stocks gained as lower crude oil prices slashed input costs. The Nifty energy index gained 2 percent with Reliance Industries rising 2 percent and Indian Oil Corporation and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited advancing 1% each.
Overseas, European stocks rose higher as investors keep an eye on earnings and key data releases. Asian stocks were mixed. The International Energy Agency cut its outlook for oil demand growth by 100,000 bpd for 2017 and 2018.

Sensex, Nifty close lower, Sun Pharma, ONGC top losers, Tomorrow Stock Tips

The key benchmark ended lower on Wednesday, weighed down by telecom and metal stocks with BSE Sensex ending lower by 181.43 points to 32,760.44, while the NSE Nifty fell 68.55 points to close at 10,118.05. Bharti Infratel was major loser, falling 5% followed by Vedanta Ltd, Hindalco and Sun Pharmaceuticals. Sun Pharma shares declined after reporting weak quarterly numbers. 

Moreover, poorly quarterly earnings by some blue-chip companies and weak global cues made mood gloomy. All the sectoral indices led by stocks such as power, metal and FMCG were trading in the red. 

Metal shares tumbled due to prices of industrial metals fell in global commodities market. Hindustan Copper down 8.89%, National Aluminium Company slips 5.7%, Jindal Steel and Power down 5%, Hindustan Zinc edged lower by 4.15%, JSW Steel down 3.98% among others. 

Most shares of the Reliance tumbled sharply amid heavy trading volumes, with the Anil Ambani group’s RCom shares falling to single digits for the first time ever. The other group stocks which fell include Reliance Power, Reliance Infra, Reliance Naval & Engg, Reliance Capital, and Reliance Nippon LAM.

Sensex,Nifty end Lower on Inflation Worries, Tomorrow Stock Option Tips

Indian share markets ended lower on Tuesday after retail inflation picked up to a 7-month high in October. The BSE Sensex closed lower by 91.69 points at 32,941.87 and the NSE Nifty finished down by 3835 points settling at 10,186.6. Losses were notably seen in PSU stocks, capital goods and energy stocks. 

Shares of Mahindra and Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Axis Bank, Reliance gained, while Asian Paints, L&T, Power Grid, TCS, Sun Pharma and ONGC lost up to 2.46%. 

Shares of Tata Global Beverages spiked 5.16% to end at Rs 246.65 after the beverages company major reported a rise of 11% in the net profit for the June – Sept quarter to Rs 154 cr, as compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. 

The stock of IPCA Lab rose 5% to Rs 571.15 before settling down 1.48% at Rs.535.9 after the company reported a 75.55% rise in net profit to Rs. 96.47 crore for the Sept quarter this year. 

The Wholesale Inflation for October has surged to 3.59% to a 7-month high, driven by faster rises in prices of food and fuel products as per govt data showed on Tuesday.

Sensex closed down 281 points lower, Nifty below 10,250, Tomorrow stock trading tips

The BSE Sensex ended 281 points lower at 33,033.56, while the NSE Nifty went down by 96.80 points at 10,225.00, driven by the Reliance, HDFC, ICICI Bank and L&T while M&M stock closed with gains of over 1 percent. The Sensex hit its lowest level in more than two weeks, while the Nifty hit its lowest level in almost 3 weeks. In the broader market, the BSE Mid-Cap index fell 0.19% and Small-Cap declined 0.41%. 

TCS and M&M were the top gainers on both indices, while Adani Ports, ONGC and Aurobindo lost the most on both indices. In IT, Auto, and Bank stocks buying pressure picked up; while Energy, Telecom, Industrials, Consumer Durables, Metal, Oil and Gas sectors showed weakness on the BSE. 

Out of 1,986 stocks traded on the NSE, there were 736 advances, against 924 declines, and 326 stocks remained unchanged. A total of 65 stocks clocked a fresh 52-week high, while 26 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

Nifty,Sensex close higher marginally, Stock trading calls tomorrow- 10 Nov

Indian SHARE markets ended on lighter note on Thursday after a choppy trade through the day. The BSE Sensex ended up 32.12 points at 33,250.93 whereas NSE Nifty settled 5.8 points higher at 10,308.95. The shares of heavyweight companies viz ITC and HDFC emerged as the key draggers while a surge in RIL and ICICI Bank contributed the most in the Sensex gains. ICICI Bank, Reliance and Indiabulls Housing were the major gainers on Sensex and Nifty indices, while Bharti Airtel, ONGC and Coal India lost the most. 

Gains were mainly seen in  power stocks, consumer durables stocks  and bank stocks while auto stocks and Pharma stocks  finished in red. 

Power generation stocks rose to a great extent. Reliance Infrastructure rose 3.35%, JP Ventures rose 2.63%, JSW Energy spurts 2.03%, GMR Infrastructure up 1.71%, Adani Power rose 1.33%, NTPC up 1.05%, Tata Power rose 0.78% and Reliance Power edged higher by 0.26% while NHPC down 0.89% and Torrent Power edged down by 1.74%, coal India down 1.56% Power Grid Corporation was down 0.62%. 

About 1,485 shares rose against 1,211 falling shares on the BSE. On NSE, Out of 1,976 stocks traded wherein, 953 advances, against 712 declines, and 311 remained unchanged today.

Sensex ended lower 152 points, Nifty near 10,300, Nifty Prediction Tomorrow

Closing Update- Key benchmark indices extended losses for second successive session, with the Sensex closing lower by 151.95 points to 33,218.81 while NSE Nifty while the Nifty 50 fell 47 points to close at 10,303.15. Markets traded marginally higher since the morning as bank stocks regained from recent losses, but gains were capped as Reliance fell on oil price concerns and as Bharti Airtel slumped after a key investor sought to exit. Markets continued to keep under selling pressure with stocks such as Reliance, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank dragging the indices lower. 

Cipla Ltd, Sun Pharma, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank and Asian Paints are among the gainers, while Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Vedanta, Lupin, and YES Bank are losing sheen on NSE. 

Out of 1,975 stocks traded on the NSE, there were 576 advances, against 1,094 declines, and 305 remained unchanged today. A total of 60 stocks clocked a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 25 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.

Sensex and Nifty end in red; Pharma stocks fall

Stock Market dropped today as rising crude oil prices and weakening rupee spoiled investor’s sentiment. The BSE Sensex plunged 360.43 points to close at 33,370.76, while the NSE Nifty 50 ended 101.60 points lower at 10,350.20 on profit booking in banks, O&G, banking & financials, metals and auto stocks.  

Barring IT stocks all other indices ended lower with PSU Bank and Nifty Pharma falling 3.92% and 4.29%, respectively, while Energy, consumer durables and realty indices fell more than 2%. HPCL, Infosys HCL, TCS and Tech 

Mahindra are among the gainers, while SBI, UPL, Lupin, Cipla, and Bharti Airtel are losing steam on NSE. Out of 1975 stocks traded on the NSE, there were 335 advances against 1083 declines, and 36 stocks remained unchanged today.

Sensex closes record high, Nifty flat, auto stocks rise, Tomorrow Stock Tips

The BSE Sensex closed at record high at 33,731.19 while the NSE Nifty erased all gains and ended flat falling 0.70 points at 10,451.80. The Sensex fell in early trade on profit booking in metal, banking oil and gas and PSU stocks after a recent rally. Auto Sector stocks leads the gains. Tata Motors, ONGC, M&M, Infratel, and Wipro are among the gainers, whereas HPCL, Zee TV, YES Bank, UPL, and Sun Pharma are losing steam on NSE. Nifty Auto Index appreciated by 1 percent, lead by strong gain of Tata Motors over 4 percent. 

Hindustan Copper shares zoomed about 50% from Nov 1 to 6. The stock rose as much as 20% on Monday to hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs 104.1 on NSE. Since 1 Nov, the stock has witnessed a huge positive reception of 49.89% to the 52-week high price. 

Auto shares were mixed. Tata Motors rose, Maruti Suzuki up 1.01%, 3.21%, Ashok Leyland up 1.82%, and TVS Motors up 1.53% whereas Hero MotoCorp slipped 0.04%, Eicher Motors down 0.22%, Bajaj Auto edged lower by 0.28%

Closing Bell: Sensex and Nifty end on a flat note

Closing Update- Stock markets ended lower on Thursday in the volatile session due to weakness in index heavyweights like Reliance Industries and ITC. The BSE Sensex closed lower by 27.05 points to 33,573.22, while the NSE Nifty fell 16.75 points to close at 10,423.75. 

Dr Reddy’s Lab, PowerGrid, Aurobindo Pharma, Lupin and Sun Pharma are gainers, among others, whereas ITC, Tech Mahindra, Infratel, SBI, and Hero Motor Corp lost most on NSE. 

Buying was seen in Healthcare, Finance, IT, Consumer Durables, and Reality, while FMCG, Auto, and Metal sectors show weakness on the BSE. 

On NSE, A total of 103 stocks clocked a fresh 52-week high, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low.

Sensex,Nifty close record closing high, 02 Nov Equity Cash Trading Calls Tomorrow

Closing Update- The BSE Sensex was up 387.14 points at 33,600.27, whereas the NSE Nifty was up 105.20 points at 10,440.50. The market breadth was positive as 1515 shares advanced against a decline of 1274 shares, while 154 shares were unchanged. 

Bharti Airtel gains 8.47%, State bank of India up 4.59%, ICICI Bank advanced 4.58% and HDFC up by 2.68%, being the top gainers. On the losers side, Dr. Reddy’s Lab falls, 3.06%, Power Grid fell 1.41%, Hero Moto Corp 1.17% and Sun Pharma fell 0.90%. 

A total of 139 stocks clocked a fresh 52-week high today, while 12 stocks touched a fresh 52-week low on the NSE. 

The market got a major boost up from the released World Bank report, which heightened India by 30 notches at 100 in the rankings of World Bank's Ease of Doing Business.
